COMPUTER FUNCTION IN COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE

In this video you will learn the Computer Function.The basic function performed by computer is execution of program, which consists of a set of instructions stored in memory. In its simplest form, instruction processing consists of two steps : The processor reads(fetches)instruction from memory and executes each instruction, The program execution consists of repeating the process of instruction fetch and execution.The processing required for single instruction is called instruction cycle. Interrupts are provided primarily as a way to improve processing efficiency.The basic instruction cycle, instruction cycle state diagram, interrupt program flow and control is discussed in details.
