This project was my senior thesis in college. It is quite special because I used to be just like Javier, growing up in a Spanish-speaking household but unable to speak the language. As I grew up, I took it upon myself to learn Spanish to connect with my grandparents and family members who couldn't speak Spanish. This film is a testament to the grace and depth of love that family members share, even when faced with language barriers.
