AC Josephson Effect has been described. When a dc voltage is applied across the Josephson junction then an ac current or an oscillating current is resulted. This phenomenon is called AC Josephson Effect. The frequency of the oscillating current is proportional to the applied dc voltage. Actually it is caused by the coupling between the wave in one superconductor and the wave in other superconductor. Applying Schrodinger’s time dependent equation the phenomenon of ac Josephson effect has been explained.
