Configuring... 20/05/26
I switched from Windows to Linux today. It is my first time using Linux in my life. This video is the very first test recording with OBS Studio. As you can see there are many problems to be fixed, such as the FPS in Minecraft which is actually excellent, fluid and very much better than any time I've ever played on Windows, but on the recording it's choppy and overall the quality is bad. I have had infinite plus one problems with trying to play Mirror's Edge ever since I bought the game. I spent 2 – 3 days on January dedicated exclusively for trying to fix and finally play this game that I'm so anxious for. The day I'm able to play Mirror's Edge will be a extremely happy day. For some reason I thought maybe with Linux the situation would be different. Stupid thinking, it has nothing to do with operational system but with EA being THE WORST game company that exist in the world. When I was trying to fix things for the 50th time I realized I didn't need to go down that rabbit hole again, and that my last option would be to contact Steam directly. At this point, I just want a refund more than anything else. My experience with Linux has been so far nice. With this I hope I'll may be able to play games that for some reason wouldn't launch on Windows, such as GTA V and Silent Hill 2 remake. Of course, the drivers are probably the problem, not the OS itself, but believe me when I say I've spent so many hours trying to download and fix and do everything possible on Windows to play some of these games that should be simple and I really, really, really, really would be absolutely amazed if anything I'll ever have to go through on Linux comes even close of the stress.
