CONNEMARA

I made this while staying in my home away from home the other week. I've been meaning to make something in Connemara for a long time, and I was down for the weekend recently and got the most footage I could during the time I was there. Filmed and edited myself with a focus on colour grading to get a tangible feel through the shots, which were somewhat run-and-gun. I used the song "Grand Prix" by Nala Sinephro from the Smashing Machine OST. Loved the jazz-like droning that created a nice, meaningful atmosphere that I was looking for to accompany the clips. The narration comes from an old interview of a local in Connemara from 1980. - Shot on Sony A6400 with a Helios 44-2 and a Prakticar 35mm. Graded and Edited on DaVinci Resolve.
