Use FTP with Microsoft Access and VBA to control external processes. This video demonstrates how anyone can create and run an FTP script using Microsoft Access and VBA. Using template data in a table it shows how to take and modify that data; export it to an external script file; then execute it. FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is simply one example of controlling an external process from within Microsoft Access using VBA and template data. Various other types of scripts can be used - including BAT (Batch), CMD (Command) and even PowerShell.
