Convert String to Numeric Variable in SPSS (Without Losing Data)

In this video, I demonstrated how to convert String variables to Numeric variables in SPSS without losing data. If the data you have loaded into SPSS from excel spreadsheet is entered as String variable, perhaps because the data is Nominal or Ordinal variable, there is appropriate way of converting the strings to numeric type, and this video demonstrates in details how to do that conversion step-by-step.
