Convulse was a Finnish Death metal / Melodic Death/Grind/ Rock band, founded in 1988 in Nokia. The band was initially known as Speed metal-playing S.D.S. Discography : Rehearsal (Demo, 1990) Resuscitation of Evilness (Demo, 1990) Promo 1992 (Demo, 1992) World Without God (Full-length, 1992) Lost Equilibrium (Single, 1993) Live In Pain (Single, 1994) Reflections (Full-length, 1994) Soon After their first full-length and promo tape made afterwards, the band got signed to Relapse. Thereafter, their music gathered more rock and doom metal influence in their music, probably due to influence of a musical trend started up by such bands as Xysma and Entombed.
