In Revit 2019, you can create cope only between intersecting structural beams. To create a cope, choose the Cope tool from the Parametric Cuts panel of the Steel tab. Next, select the intersecting elements to cope and press ENTER; a cope will be created and the sub-connection between the framing elements will be displayed as a dashed-lined box, Select the sub-connection box to modify the instance values in the Properties palette.
