Copying Primavera P-6 Program into Microsoft Excel, Primavera Program in Excel

This video is made to demonstrate one of the method to copy Primavera P6 Program into Microsoft Excel. Primavera is a heavy program which is little tough to understand and to use instead most of the people are familiar and convenient with Microsoft Excel. In primavera we need to shows different columns in different layouts and therefore always we needs to prepare LAYOUTS, while in excel it is relatively easy to check specific activities and it's attributes and apply different filters instantly. In this video I tried to demonstrate some of every good formulas / shortcuts/techniques in Excel, for example "CTRL+ Right Arrow" to move the Right most cell in a sheet, similarly you can use same formula for Left, Up and Down to directly reach to last value. One of the good technique is using "ALT + ;" to select the visible cells only. It explains the use of following formulas; 1. Length command ("LEN") 2. Trim command ("TRIM") 3. Using filter option 4. Freeze pane 5. Fit all columns in one page 6. Reduce Top/Bottom/Right/Left margins 7. Put page number in footer 8. Fill selected cells and fonts Filter command can be used as a resemblance with Primavera command using different filters to get specific activities and it's values.
