This really is an easy and quick cornbread recipe that is delicious!!!
Ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup corn meal
1/3 cup sugar (you can use brown sugar if you like)
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cup buttermilk room temp (you can substitute whole milk if you don't have it. It will be close in taste but not quite the same)
8 tbsp melted butter
2 eggs room temp
Mix dry ingredients first then add wet ingredients. Mix well then pour in to baking pan. Bake for approx 25 mins at 400 degrees.
