Corner Joint Tricks
in this episode of adventures in welding what we're doing is looking at corner joint tricks. When were welding two pieces of box square tubing together and they've been cut at a 45° angle where the points come together can be problematic in welding.
So the trick that I like to do is to attack everything up and then grind the point flat at about a 45° angle. This allows us to run a nice speed along that point without having to chew up the edges.
I just think it makes everything look a little bit smoother a little bit neater and a little bit more professional.
