This video includes performances of "Be Still, Child" and "We Know Who Our Enemies Are." I wish I'd recorded more of this concert because it was one of the most intense sets I saw at Cornerstone 2002. And it was all the more insane because mewithoutYou decided to perform wearing suits, sweaters, turtlenecks, etc., in the sweltering July heat. (If you've ever been to Cornerstone, then you know how oppressively hot it could get under those big tents in the middle of the day.)
I distinctly remember their drummer running off the stage as soon as their set ended, stripping off his clothes, and collapsing on the ground while people poured ice over him to cool him down.
Also, apologies for the zooming and panning, but it was hard to keep Aaron Weiss in frame with all of his flailing and dancing around.
