Cosmic Collision is a musical interpretation of an alternate history theory of a global cataclysm that took place about 12000 years ago in planet Earth’s history. It is theorized by non-conventional historians that the Earth was struck by a comet which melted the glaciers that covered most of the planet at that time. The resulting global flood was a civilization destroying event that these historians believe gave rise to the flood stories of many cultures including the story of Noah’s Ark. The thought is that this extinction level event caused the demise of great fauna of the time such as mammoths and saber tooth cats. Such an event would have wiped out any civilizations and artifacts of their existence.
