Counting the hand is a technique where we determine the shape or strength of the hidden hands. On this hand, we are practicing figuring out the shape of the West hand. After four tricks, you should have a nearly perfect sense of West's original (and current) shape. While this won't help us defend this hand, it is a tough skill to learn and this hand is a great hand to practice on!
