Standard diagnosis
collect nasal /oral swab for RT-PCR
TREATMENT
Antipyretic
*Paracetamol
Antiviral
*Remdesivir
Mode of action : inhibit the enzyme RNA-D,RNA POLy from making new copies of +ssrna
Antimalarial drug
*hydroxychloroquine
To prevent the corona virus from entry into the pneumocyte type 2 cell cytoplasm
Interleukin blockers
Tocilizumab
It blockers the macrophage from releasing interleukin 6 hence reducing fever.
Other drugs given are antibiotics, corticosteroids. .
