CPM-3V Corrosion Test: We've been getting a lot of questions about CPM-3V and how badly it rusts if it isn't taken care of. To answer that question we clean up a GSO-10 that has been sitting outside for just over a year. The answer is, even after a year of laying around in the weather, it just gets ugly. The blade wasn't compromised in any way. After being cleaned up,the edge on the GSO-10 was even still shiny. The blades in the video were left outside, exposed to the elements and even occasionally had the fire system water poured on them for good measure. The GSO-10 experienced all four seasons in the weather. The GSO-10 was a prototype, that never went into production. It still had the purple colored surface from heat treat, with the blade partially scratch finished, to create some peaks and valleys in the surface. The GSO-4.1. was a tumble finished blade and was left out for just over a month. SURVIVE! Own The Advantage www.SurviveKnives.com
