Recipe
Ingredients:
12 oz. fresh or frozen cranberries
1 cup orange juice
3/4 cup of sugar
Optional: instead of orange juice try water or red wine. instead of sugar try 1/2 cup agave syrup.
For a spicy version add 1 tbsp. of chipotle in adobo sauce. Try a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg.
A splash of grand marnier can also liven up the cranberry sauce
Directions
Clean cranberries in small batches and remove soft or damaged berries
In a sauce pan over medium heat combine cranberries, orange juice and sugar
Bring to a simmer then stir until all berries have popped and the sauce has thickened (about 6 mins.)
Let cool, then chill.
