The first thing that you need to keep in mind is that you should NEVER use your right hand to crank start these cars. If it backfires, it will break the starter (your hand, arm or wrist!) We didn't get a free start today but it does happen from time to time. A free start is when the engine starts when you turn the key on. The reason that this will occur once in a while is because of the buzz coils used by these cars. If the piston is in the right position, and there is enough fuel in the cylinder, the spark from the coil can fire the mixture and start the engine.
