After 13 years of flying, I took a full year off. I finally got back in the air for one morning on March 2025, then on one more time in May 2025. It had been another month before I decided to meet up with my FlyBuds on Saturday July 19, 2025. My Moster 185 was running perfect as always. I have not done a thing to this engine/unit since the day I purchased it 10 years ago. No carb rebuild...nothing. The motor fired up on the second pull and I warmed it up. I laid out my 18meter ITV Piper wing, which pops right up every time with not a single abort. I was off!...and then a rookie mistake.... distraction and low altitude at the worst moment.
