#music #flstudio #musicproducer #metal #art #producer This one has some fucked up rhythms. I have, for quite some time, thought about making a snare pattern similar to the creaking of a wooden boat. I've tried a few times, but most of them were not to my satisfaction. I originally started with the snare pattern at 1:15, which only roughly resembles the ebb and flow of the creaking. Later in the music-making process, I came up with the snare pattern that plays at the start. I really don't know what possessed me when making that because it has cymbals on a 5/8 polyrhythm over kicks that land at the start of every 4/4 bar, and the snare is just doing its own thing. Later, when trying to provide more audible interest to the ocean sections, I decided it'd be a bright idea to force the melody to match the rhythm of the snares. It sounds disgusting and bad, but I love it. The guitar tone I used in this song was a neural amp sim tone, which I haven't used in a released song. This is mainly because in my previous attempts, the tones sucked, but I think I figured it out this time. also I couldn't bother to render the stairs properly don't flame me
