Creaky Forks?

I'm looking at the creaking/cracking noises which develops on longer travel single crown mtb forks, such as the Fox 34/36 RockShox Pike/Yari and Lyrik but which can happen to any single crown fork which uses a pressfit csu assembly. The ideal fix would be to press the stanchions out from the crown apply some locktite, then pressfit them back in, but you'll need some specialist tools to do this :( https://www.rsfsus.co.uk offer an excellent service for the creaking.
