Create Custom Material Templates
Project Manager makes it easy to create materials and textures by simply dragging image files into the Material Editor or directly onto a model in the scene. https://3d-kstudio.com/product/project-manager/ By default, materials are created based on the active renderer: V-Ray Mtl and V-RayBitmap for V-Ray, Corona Material for Corona, and so on. You can choose a different material or even create your own material template. For example, let’s create a V-Ray Material using the standard Bitmap. To do this, open the Add Template Material dialog. Make a copy of the template from the first slot and replace the V-RayBitmap with a Bitmap. Use any image for this. For instance, let’s also enable the Summed Area option. When creating materials using this template, all subsequent Bitmaps will have this option enabled by default. Add the template to the dialog by simply dragging it in. Rename it—let’s call it V-Ray Mat/Bitmap—and save the template. Now it’s available in the dropdown list. Select it to create a new material. This time, instead of V-RayBitmap, the material uses a standard Bitmap. To create a simple Bitmap without a material, hold SHIFT while dragging. Happy rendering and have a great day! #3DsMax #Plugin #Material #Arch #Viz #Design #Asset #PBR #Kstudio #Custom #Template
