The vide is aimed at creating a basic Multiprotocol Gateway (MPGW) in DataPower. For simplicity, the said Multiprotocol gateway is created in loop back mode. This helps abstract out complexities of applications integrations and focus purely on MPGW.
A loopback MPGW is cornerstone of DataPower bound development. In most cases, we develop code on DataPower which is supposed to integrate with other applications/APIs. However, during DataPower development phase, these APIs may not be available. However as a developer we are supposed to build and unit test our code on DataPower. A loopback MPGW can greatly aid you in this.
