Create STPs Fishnet Method Using ArcGIS Pro

In our previous video we showed you how to create STP points for Phase I Archaeology investigations using the "Points Along a Transect Method" . In this video we show you how to create the STP points using the Fishnet Method. Big Pine Consultants LLC does Phase I and Phase II Archaeological investigations often and we use ArcGIS Pro to layout our STPs. For Phase II investigations, proposal estimating, and areas that are generally rectangular, the Fishnet Method is our preferred method for creating points. In addition to this method to create STP points, you might consider incorporating a slope analysis or disturbance analysis to eliminate STPs in locations with greater than 15% slopes or that were previously disturbed.
