Create Water Drop Collage Paper
In this art demo we explore the technique of creating water drop collage paper using water and acrylic paint with different types of paper such as Yupo, watercolor, and deli paper. Inspired by the artist @Esoterra on Instagram, this method involves creating bubbles or droplets of water on the paper surface. Once dried, these droplets provide sensational patterns and beautiful iridescent collage papers. Stick around to the end to see the end result of dropping water and paint on 3 papers. 00:00 Introduction and Inspiration 00:54 Materials Needed for Water Drop Papers 01:00 Choosing the Right Paper 01:34 Choosing the Right Fineliner 02:14 Paint and Brush Selection 02:33 Tape and Other Supplies 02:59 Mixing Paint and Starting the Process 04:06 Working with Yupo Paper 05:38 The Drying Process 06:14 Results and Uses of Dried Papers 10:05 Adding Paint to the Water Drops 12:56 Working with Watercolor Paper 18:05 Final Results and Conclusion Supplies to make these papers: Watercolor paper 140 lb https://amzn.to/3v4f7AA Mixed media paper 108 lb. https://amzn.to/3PIR02i Yupo paper, transparent https://amzn.to/3NqlggX and opaque https://amzn.to/3v1N70M https://amzn.to/3NqlggX Deli paper https://amzn.to/4alcHxW Fine liners filled with water https://amzn.to/3uVBicd or https://amzn.to/3tiacLX or https://amzn.to/3H0XWmx Repositionable artist tape https://amzn.to/3GH77It Small tip paint brushes Acrylic paint or ink.
