Creating a Forest landscape

In this long format video, Teunis Jan Klein (owner of Deshima Bonsai, based in the Netherlands) shows how to create a Bonsai forest. He carefully prepared the Fagus crenata - Japanese beech trees for several years, sourced an amazing rock for the landscape, and prepared the slab to place the trees on. In this lecture, he walks us through the entire process, from selecting trees and materials, to creating depth in the landscape and finally adding accent plants and moss. He inspired many with his dedication, creativity, and unique approach to the art - and his stunning garden Deshima Bonsai in the Netherlands.
