Creating A Healthy Mentality 💆♂️
Athletes are people, and people go through some sh*t 👤 Here are my tips to allow yourself to be, creating a space within yourself to be open to life in all its forms🙏 Rather than doing all the time, keeping up with the chase and chasing perfection these can be damaging to the psyche: 1. Take a walk: aim to walk 30 minutes a day, offload the tension and stress that you build up. Our culture forgets about our biological heritage to where the fight or flight systems kick in, and for some people are constantly in fight or flight mode. 2. Don’t take yourself too seriously: if you are able to laugh at yourself then you know that you are part to the source. To be light, to feel light, you need to take things lightly and not so serious. 3. Don’t isolate yourself: do not build fortresses as isolation is dangerous, Law 18, Laws Of Power. In this context, isolation leads to further depression, surround yourself with positive affinities to get you outside of yourself. 4. Breathwork & meditation: Offload the tension and come back to your body, thinking all the time can drain you, reconnect with the body by grounding yourself with these practices. 5. Get outside yourself: Focus on others than just yourself, realise everyone is suffering just like you. This will connect you with the other people who are going through the human experience.
