Creating an Encrypted Home Directory on Linux

Protecting user data at rest is critical, especially on shared systems and laptops. In this Ubuntu 22.04 lab, we use eCryptfs to create an encrypted home directory for a new user, explore how transparent encryption works at login, and learn how to retrieve the mount passphrase needed for data recovery.
