In response to a question on the Modo user forums, in this video I show a simple method for creating blinks for facial animation using morphs. The goal is to simulate arc deformations using a pair of morphs, and could be used whenever you wish to have a curving motion only using morphs.
Modo supports other methods for facial animation, including an order of operation deformation system (aka OoO) which is considerably more flexible for animation than a morph based approach. I do not show OoO in this video (as this is not the focus of this video), but at the end I discuss each approach and when they might be used.
