Anchor Youth Spaces provide immediate mental health and social services for young people in Nova Scotia - under one roof. Youth can walk in for supports including counselling, life skills groups, peer support, and help with employment, education, and training.
Led by IWK Health in collaboration with community organizations, each site is thoughtfully designed with and for youth – resulting in unique spaces that reflect the specific needs of their communities. Sites are open in Amherst, Halifax, and Sydney, with five more coming across the province:
