As schools and community spaces closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Spark Central's staff began putting together Creative Care Packages for kids who live in Spokane's West Central neighborhood. Each care package included creative supplies, activity instructions, and snacks. The first care packages were given to kids in May, 2020. A second round of Creative Care Packages went out to members of Spark Central and the West Central Community Center in June.
