It even created genres like Hip Hop and House in many ways. I had the chance to work a bit with Torso S-4 and see what I could do with it for my kind of music (Techno). Coming from a bit of Tape Recorders like Tascam 414 or Fostex XR-77 I wanted to follow a similar approach plus using the benefits of the technology and explore the big performative aspects, which is very appealing to me.
