Crane Operator competencies are assessed during the High Risk Work License (HRWL) and often further in the form of a Verification of Competency (VOC) at specific job sites. The Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA) has created CrewSafe to document crane operator competency that provides evidence of crane-specific knowledge for owners, construction sites, mine sites, and operators.
