CROCHET: Cluster stitch tutorial
This is a really beautiful easy stitch, which gives a textured look for baby blankets, scarves and other projects. It is also great for beginners. Pattern: Row 1 ch multiples of 2 dc into 2nd ch from hook dc into next stitch, ch 1 skip a stitch dc into next stitch, ch 1 right to the end of the row where you have 2 stitches left, dc into last 2 stitches ch 4 and turn Row 2 work a cluster stitch into ch1 space cluster stitch into next ch1 space right to the end of the row work 1 treble stitch into the top of the last double crochet, change colour here if you want to, ch1 and turn Row 3 dc into very first stitch dc into first ch space, ch 1 dc into next ch1 space, ch1 and repeat to the end of the row dc into the 3rd ch of the ch4 from previous round ch4 and turn Row 4 work a cluster stitch into ch1 space cluster stitch into next ch1 space right to the end of the row work 1 treble stitch into the top of the last double crochet, change colour and/or ch1 and turn Repeat rows 3 and 4 until you have the desired length and fasten off.
