We’ve all been there. You walk into the craft store to pick up one particular skein of yarn, and emerge with twenty... Often in colors and fibers that, although gorgeous, you are never actually likely to use. Houses are overflowing with redundant yarn bins, half finished projects and funky crochet tools with big claims, which remain unopened indefinitely or proved completely useless… Crochet is a hobby full of people who are really keen on ecological soundness, being green, saving the planet, anti fashion, and yet it is also a hotbed of consumerism.
