Make a slip knot, ch5, sl st into 1st ch to make a ring, make a bdc into the ring, finish the beginning cluster with a 2 insert cluster stitch, ch3, *3 insert cluster stitch, ch3* repeat x5 for a total of 6 clusters & 6 ch spaces, sl st into the 2nd stitch (the stitch after the one above the cluster) 2. Petal: *sc, hdc, dc, 3tc, dc, hdc, sc* repeat x5 for a total of 6 petals, sl st in same ch space as last petal, ch1 to fasten off How to join flowers: Repeat the first round of the flower pattern & 2 petals, joining a petal: sc, hdc, dc, 1tc, start the middle tc but don’t complete the last pull through 2, place your hook into the other flowers petal middle tc (or in-between 2 flowers), pull through the stitch and the 2 loops on your hook, 1tc, dc, hdc, sc, join 4 petals, sl st in same ch space as last petal, ch1 to fasten off 2 Insert Cluster Stitch Pattern: *yo, insert hook into ring, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2* twice, yo and pull through all 3 loops on hook 3 Insert Cluster Stitch Pattern: *yo, insert hook into ring, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2* 3 times, yo and pull through all 4 loops on hook
