Crochet Pokeball and Premier ball Pattern Tutorial

Pokeball/Premier Ball Pattern This is a beginner level pattern. Terms to know: Magic ring/magic circle/mr/mc Single crochet / sc Increase (two single crochet in the same stitch) / inc Slip stitch / sl st Invisible decrease / inv dec Materials List: 4 weight red yarn 4 weight White yarn 4 weight black yarn (not needed if doing premier ball) Stitch marker 3.75 mm hook Scissors Polyfil Yarn needle Starting with the top In white if doing a premier ball, in red if doing a regular pokeball R1: sc x 6 into a mr R2: inc x 6 = 12 R3: (sc, inc) x 6 = 18 R4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 = 24 R5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 = 30 R6: (4 sc, inc) x 6 = 36 Weave in magic ring end R7-R10: sc around = 36 Middle Ring Color change in the last stitch of R10 to red if doing a premier ball, or to black if doing a regular pokeball R11-R12: sc around = 36 Bottom of Pokeball Color change to white in the last stitch of R11 Tie knots with your color change ends or weave them in so they do not come undone R13-R16: sc around = 36 R17: (4 sc, inv Dec) x 6 = 30 R18: (3 sc, inv dec) x 6 = 24 R19: (2 sc, inv dec) x 6 = 18 Stuff your pokeball R20: (sc, inv Dec) x 6 = 12 R21: inv dec x 6 = 6 Finish off with a slst and weave in your end Button Starting with white R1: 6 sc into a magic ring R2: inc x 6 = 12 Color change to red if doing a premier ball or black if doing a regular pokeball in the last stitch of R2 R3: slip stitch into each sc from the previous round At the end of the round slip stitch into the first slst Finish off with a long end for sewing Place the button directly over the color changes. Using a crochet hook pull your magic ring tail through the pokeball to anchor it on.
