This is a great shawl for beginners. It's a 2 row repeat which works up fast and looks like a million bucks.

Hook size was 4.0mm
You can use whatever yarn you would like. The thinner the yarn, the lighter the shawl will be. Thicker yarn will make for a warmer shawl.
