A CROSS JOIN, also known as a Cartesian Join, is a type of join that returns the Cartesian product of the two joined tables. This means that each row from the first table is combined with every row from the second table. If the first table has m rows and the second table has n rows, the result set will have m×n rows. the Cartesian product of two sets A and B, denoted A × B, is the set of all ordered pairs (a, b) where a is an element of A and b is an element of B The CROSS JOIN keyword returns all matching records from both tables whether the other table matches or not. So, if there are rows in "Customers" that do not have matches in "Orders", or if there are rows in "Orders" that do not have matches in "Customers", those rows will be listed as well.
