Sometimes, juvenile crows will experiments with mimicry. I have some videos from a few years back with one of my corvid buddies saying "hello" to me, and laughing. In late January I stepped outside to be greeted by this young crow trying on his best squirrel imitation. You can hear me clicking a bit in response, which is a sound I use with my crows to say hello.
