Croyden

We managed to get a new tyre, in Cairns, the local dude was full of poop so we decided to wing it and head off. We abandoned our thoughts of the Fitzroy crossing and headed to Croyden. Half way there the passenger rear went flat. A failure against the bead. Managed to borrow a spare from a grey nomad and continue. Halfway between the siding and Croyden a wheel on the caravan sheered off and went into the bush. Very lucky to notice it happen. We limped to Croyden without that wheel on. Not a good idea going without a spare but it adds to our story. We bought a 'hire' tyre, it was a tad smaller than the existing wheels which is not the best idea. We really needed to give the grey nomads theirs back. We did not have the best service at the tyre supplier...!!!
