CRUMAR PERFORMER String Machine 1979 | HD DEMO

(c) 2019 by AnalogAudio1 Demo of the string machine / analog synthesizer CRUMAR PERFORMER from 1979. I played it along with a Korg SDD-3000 delay (right channel only). In the intro it was played through a Electro-Harmonix Small Stone phase shifter and a Korg SDD-3000. This Crumar Multiman is the newer version (B) with the softer (SSM) filter, which I prefer. The earlier version A has a ladder filter. But the difference in sound is not that big as you might think (Crumar managed both to sound very similar). A great string machine with classic string-ensemble sounds, but easy to carry around. The early version weighs more due to a different keybed. Used by Duran Duran on "Girls on film".
