This is probably the most vulnerable video I’ve shared so far. I talk honestly about trauma, triggers, hypervigilance, and what it feels like to live in a body and nervous system that is constantly scanning for danger — even long after the original trauma is over. If you’ve ever: overreacted to a tone change spiraled after conflict felt emotionally “too much” tried to logic yourself out of fear felt ashamed of your triggers …you are not alone. One thing I am slowly learning is that these parts of us are not trying to ruin our lives. They are trying to protect us. They were built in survival mode. And maybe healing is not about cutting those parts out of ourselves… Maybe it’s about learning to meet them with compassion instead of shame.
