Cryptography and Cyber Security
The crypto and cyber security hallway at Aarhus University is a fun place with diverse inhabitants whose interests span many topics. One of the group's focus areas is secure multiparty computation (MPC), which allows mutually distrusting parties to compute a joint function on their inputs while keeping those inputs private. Among other things, MPC can be used to build a secure version of the (fictional) OKCollab app, which lets Alice and Bob determine whether to work together while ensuring that unless Alice wants to work with Bob, she does not learn whether he wants to work with her (and vice versa).
