In this CSS Grid layout tutorial, I will explain how to add empty grid cells when designing your web pages with grid areas. The syntax is very easy, and you only need to ensure that you define the space (or columns) that each grid item should take in every row in your grid. In my CSS Grid example, I assuming that I want to reposition a banner section below my navigation bar.
