Cascading Style Sheets uses different units to specify measurements for styling web elements. Absolute length units include "px" (pixels), a fixed screen measurement, and "in" (inches), less commonly used in web design. Relative length units, such as "em" and "rem," are based on the font size of an element, while "%" represents a percentage of the parent element. Viewport percentage units like "vw" and "vh" are relative to the viewport dimensions, while "vmin" and "vmax" represent the minimum or maximum of the viewport's height and width. Font-relative units like "ch" (character width) and "ex" (x-height) are based on the font characters. Additionally, there are absolute units like "cm," "mm," "pt," and "pc," representing physical measurements, though they are less common in web development. Time units like "s" (seconds) and angle units like "deg" (degrees) and "rad" (radians) are used in animations and rotations, respectively. Understanding these units is crucial for creating responsive and visually appealing web layouts
