MILITARY TR & BEELINE HWY, SE DYER, WPB- after leaving Christ Fellowship 20s & 30s, I went to the closed crossing on Northlake to see the progress done on the crossing replacement which included partial signal upgrades, new track panels and new concrete panels for the roadway. I heard a “honk” from a horn but couldn’t tell who that may have been though the crossing lights were flashing, I though it was a track machine. Turns out, it’s a freight train, so I headed south to Military Trail where the light is better. The sound of a 2nd Generation K5HL was sounded for the crossing as CSX846, CSX808 (ES44AH) & CSX2054 (GP40-3) are seen carrying 48 cars to Miami.
