This patient is currently wearing a 20+ year old set of dentures and the teeth are worned and the bite is in protrusive. Becasue of this, the 3D biteplate comes in handy as I can then use the trays to take a final impression and use the Gnathometer CAD to do a pin tracer and take a more accurate bite registration in the mouth. From there I can import the impressions and design the denture as presented here. Next appointment will be a try in of the new denture designs.
