CULN 1311 Data visualization and basic statistics of descriptive analysis

This video was a collaboration with Ron Giesbrecht from Winery and Viticulture Program at Niagara College. Using Descriptive Analysis technique, data was collected for a wine sensory in Ron's class, while I helped out with some basic statistics and visualization. At the end of this video you will be able to: -Discuss the importance of defining hypotheses as part of experimental design and statistical analysis -Perform some basic statistical analyses within Microsoft Excel, including ANOVA -Use web based calculators to perform ANOVA post hoc testing, including Tukey's HSD analysis -Do basic data visualization with histograms and radar graphs within Excel -Discuss some of the assumptions made when performing various forms of quantitative descriptive analysis as a sensory analysis technique
